Tony was born in Macedonia, Yugoslavia. He came to Australia with his parents at the age of one and grew up in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Through his teenage years and into his early twenties at University he described himself as an agnostic or atheist. At the age of 22, and somewhat unexpectedly he came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour in a Pentecostal church. Having spent nine years in Pentecostal churches, he moved to the Presbyterian Church and was ordained to the Ministry of the Word in 2006. In 2009 Tony and his family moved to the Uniting Church. He has studied theology at Paradise Assemblies of God Bible College, the Presbyterian Theological College (Melbourne), and the University of Divinity (Pilgrim Theological College). His main passions in life are his daughter, Hannah, Jesus, the Bible, and theology. He loves to share faith, preach, teach the Christian faith, and see people come to know Jesus and grow in faith. He enjoys working out at the gym, jogging, but most of all he enjoys cheering for the Bombers in the AFL and Green Bay Packers in the NFL.
We look forward to working with Tony in our church and wider communities.
